Here are some signs that a restaurant might not be around much longer…
They drastically change the name and/or concept in the first year.
When they regularly start shopping at Restaurant Depot.
They only have half the beers on tap available because they are on C.O.D.
When you begin to morph towards night club.
The night club denies entry to (3) distinguished, styling gentlemen in blazers, because “we have a no sneakers policy.”
When they owe back meals tax. (Bad, very bad.)
When the owner starts complaining to the city manager about unfair advantages that “others” receive. (You should have paid more attention to your food and service!)
When the bartender tells you we are still out of cranberry juice and “It’s not my FN job to order the cranberry juice.”
Groupon.
