I don’t know; The conversation about weathermen and how often they are wrong–despite how much better the science has become–seems to be one that should have become tired by now. Sort of like, your diet or taste great vs less filling, or Ray Lewis or… what you think of your boss.
However, and maybe its just me, but I always enjoy the internal chuckle as I read the online weather report, and there before my eyes it is reported;
“8AM PRECIPITATION 0% “, as I turn my head towards the window and it is snowing.
All this incredible technology, yet not the common sense to allow for the remote; the highly unpredictable; the weather.
NOTE TO PEGGY WRITER- I apologize, but, what works better than semi colons in the above sentence? Periods perhaps?
