We no longer are “Grillin on the River”…the lawn behind the Tsongas Arena now belongs to Aramark and UMASS.
So, we adjust…and now we grill on the canal…or, at least, a Stones throw from the canal….in front of COBBLESTONES.
Join us today, and every Thursday between now and Labor Day, for patio parties featuring live music, hot grills manned by this guy, and fresh mojitos shaken with fresh herbs and even more fresh, Lauren Superbar Snelley–who decides when the thing gets shut down…all depending on the ‘fun-level.”
Maeve Moynihan starts singing around 5pm, followed at 6pm by the Neverly Brothers.
And, in (3) weeks from tonight, our 22nd Folk Festival weekend gets kicked off with FOUR, yes, FOUR consecutive nights of live music and bbq, out front, our own official Folk Festival After Hours Headquarters!
See the line up on our FB page any day now…including Micheal Bernier and FreeVolt-turned-Evolvement Radio on Friday 7/23, and Hot Like Fire Reggae, on Saturday night 7/24. Of course, as always, we will wrap up Sunday with Hal Holiday and Friends…who happens to be hosting tonight, and the 10 Thursday’s left of summer. We’d love to see you.
