CELEBRATING INDEPENDANCE

Cobblestones and moonstones are closed today and tomorrow–July 4 and 5–so our incredibly hard working and dedicated staffs may enjoy a collective weekend off with friends and family. Watermelons, bbq’s, the beach, Dave Matthews… whatever!

We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience that causes any potential guests–especially those who drive down only to be disappointed by the locked doors.  This is the single greatest hesitation we ever have when shutting down.  That said, from time to time–we must take a collective deep-breath and take a rest.

I love independence day.  A day to celebrate our spirit as Americans, and all that is right about being American and living in America.  Largely free, and independent to pursue our own dreams and freedoms.  Despite our flaws…we are damned fortunate, and it only keeps getting better.  That’s the way I feel today anyway.

Have a great weekend one and all.
