Some think those two words go together too often, and, me too. Our political system has become so full of noise with so little substance. The whole thing is so damn complicated and disheartening. But locally, we are pretty fortunate to have some pretty great representation–stand up guys like Dave Nangle and Tom Golden–friends from across the aisle. And last week I enjoyed another opportunity to hear Govenor Baker speak–the last time was in addressing the Massachusetts Restaurant Association Board, this time, at the home of Mike and Cindy Kuenzler. I like this guy. A dude who has actually run a business, understands employee-employer relationship, profit and loss, accountability, and being measured on results vs words and promises. He is a great speaker–engaging and funny–but the thing I like the most is, what he says seems to be overshadowed by what he does. Keep an eye on this guy…
Hey ABCC–We appreciate what you do–keeping folks honest and all when it comes to responsible service of alcohol but…and I’m just sayin’…anytime a younger person comes into one of our bars, alone, and orders a Bud Light without taking a seat–we’re betting they don’t have an ID with them. You know what I’m saying, right? Drink responsibly. Keep up the great work guys!
