* Both restaurants were sold out for Easter Brunch– over 800+ satisfied guests, and at least one not-so-much. (That “transition” time between brunch and dinner is a real challenge–one we fail to meet from time to time.) (Sorry Lisa)
* Speaking of dis satisfied guests, yet another recent threatening…”I’m going to write to Yelp”–after a burger took too long, and was overcooked. We messed up. Offerred an apology, offered another one, offered one “to go” (he was in a hurry)–Yet he still called 5 hours later to berate the manager for (15) minutes–as she held the phone and could squeeze in only– “mm hm” “ok” “uh huh” “right” “yes, I know” “mm hm” Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose (a difficult customer)
* April. Let’s go sun! Enough of winter. (Are you psyched or what?)
* Patios will be open “any day”…we’re thinking “buckets” this year…
* Spring menus under way. New lunch promo at Cobblestones on the way, as well.
* We are now on Pinterest. (I was told to say that..not sure really what that all means…and “no” I am not linked in…) Pong where have you gone…FB, Twitter, Linked In, Four Square, Pinterest, Madden, Game Boy, XBox…does anyone go out anymore to play SPUD? Steal the bacon? Stickball? Dodgeball? Dungeons and Dragons? (If you said yes to that last one, you are a dork! 🙂 )
* Bye bye Meg and Jan–Two very special ladies and special employees, who were with us from the beginning at moonstones! Employees come and go; It’s the nature of the beast, but some hurt more than others. You can see Jan at her next gallery opening–a hard working art professor and working artist, and Meg will be flashing her pearly whites behind the bar at the newly re-opened Four Oaks Dracut golf course, owned by good friend Mike Kuenzler. We wish you two nothing but the best–what you gave us these past 4+ years– Kindness, great attitude and commitment, your “best foot forward” at all times.
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
