You know what is so not romantic? Calling for Valentine’s Day reservations at 5PM, or 6PM, or 7PM, ON Valentine’s evening. Seriously folks!? So not hot.
For all of you who do NOT think ahead, here’s a tip for next year; “Honey, I made reservations for TOMORROW night, when it will be less crowded. Let’s just cuddle at home tonight with this bottle of wine.’ Duh.
(You know who you are…ALL OF YOU!)
**Maybe next year we will open a “Pop up” Valentine’s Day restaurant for the couple hundred folks we turned away yesterday. (We should save the phone numbers from the 6 pages of ‘waiting list’ we compiled!)
