After 20 years, you know what is no fun?!
Still managing French Fries. I know, I know, it shouldn’t be me anymore…but damn, I could write a whole chapter about French Fries! When the burger is ready and done, and the fries are not already cooking, or, when the burger is done and FIVE orders of fries are cooked–either way…OMG. One burger=One fries, at the same time. Its not difficult math! (Actually, maybe it is, considering…)
What IS fun? Sitting in the new menu meeting while the service and sales staff discuss new wines by the glass, the featured blush, a new chilled red, the right dessrt wine to go with fresh berries and cream…while having little idea what they are talking about. My head is spinning!
Complexity and education on one hand, French Fry math on the other.
And so it goes….
