So, we have decided that we can’t wait for Folk Festival to fire up our grill outside Cobblestones. Beginning on the first Thursday of summer, next week, and each week until labor day, we will be hosting patio-parties each Thursday throughout. Can you say happy hour?!
Whether mastering perfectly charred and caramelized chicken thighs over blistering coals, or melting lightly-salted and olive-oiled farmer’s market vegetables “low and slow”, it doesn’t get any better for us than chef’ing outdoors in summertime with a cold bottle of Navigation beer in hand! (You’re welcome PJ!)(Now come by and crack one with us….maybe bring by some samples for the party-people?!)
Please join us as we will be going off menu to add “heat” to live local musicians and weekly specialty drinks beginning at that happy hour of 5pm, as the sun sets slowly behind city hall.
BYOG? (Guitar!) Play along and we will provide free food and beverage, and you will have plenty of time to get to an 8pm gig!
BYOV?! Bring in your own home-grown (vegetables, that is!) and we will grill them alongside whatever has inspired us that week—from crackling hot chorizo and mussels steamed in garlic-tomato broth or dry-rubbed ribs over served over cotija corn—come party with us. Where there is smoke….there we will be, all fired up for summer!
BYOT? Bring your own tongs!! That’s right, come play chef with me (I get distracted) and between PJ and I, we will make sure you have a cold beer at all times. (You know who you are…)
Please email Robin @ info@cobblestonesoflowell if you want to play…or bring in vegetables or apply for the grill cook position, and she will make this all work. I just make it up as I go! See you next Thursday?!
Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me?
