Of all the former menu items that people dog us about, Potato Skins is 2nd only to the Artichokes Francaise. Note: We ran the Artichokes for a couple weeks recently–and the results were predictable. They sold “ok.” I think they are like one of those ‘cult’ things. Not MANY fans but those who love them, love to remind us how much they miss them!
Well, with March being the month of St Patrick’s Day, The Luck of the Irish, and that close relationship with potatoes, we have brought back our famed Potato Skins, for the month! Baked, cut, scooped, fried crisp, stuffed with cheddar-jack cheese, bacon and caramelized onions and baked again! (Photo pending…)
I’m guessing that after our all day Corned Beef and Cabbage “festival” a week from this Sunday–On March 17th–you’ll be able to get your Potato Skins with some chopped corned beef on top! I don’t know about you, but I’m all in!
